Helen is a dedicated and hard-working actress, with a great passion for her work. She has been acting and performing since she was very young, and continues to relish each and every opportunity, project, production and role.
Helen grew up with the beautiful Georgian city of Bath, England, as her hometown, and after a few years away, is once again based in the picturesque countryside around the city. Her love of the country, however, does not stop her enjoyment of the many different places, both in the UK and internationally, in which she works as an actress. She has two brothers, one older and one younger, and both are also artistic by nature. Michael is a photographer (www.redforgestudios.net) and Hugh is also an actor (www.hughholman.co.uk).
After training in stage and screen acting in Bath and Bristol, she was co-founder and producer of a Bath-based theatre company, performing in many plays both classical and contemporary, as independent productions, and as part of the Bath Fringe Festival. She has extensive experience of Shakespearian plays and is a big fan of the bard’s work, performing in works produced by the renowned Theatre Royal Bath. She spent several months working in Italy, touring with an English-language theatre company. Helen also has experience in voice-over and narration, and commercial, corporate and brand modelling.
Helen took a break from her acting career while she attended the University of Winchester. She took the chance to study her second passion, history and archaeology, but could not completely cut out her acting, so she read a joint BA (Hons) in both Drama and Archaeology. Although her career started out mostly within the theatre, since graduating Helen has been working mainly in film and television, but her love of the theatre still thrives.
